Dr. Michelle Wozniak (Dr. “Woz”) graduated from the University of Western States in Portland, OR and earned her Degree as Doctorate of Chiropractic in Dec, 2011.

Originally raised in Brookfield, Wisconsin, Dr. Wozniak moved to Colorado with her family in 1998. With energy and enthusiasm for sports and activities, she understands how important good health inspires everyone to achieve the most in their lives.

Journey to Chiropractic

Her beginnings in chiropractic date back to high school. She battled severe and debilitating migraines that took time away from her studies, athletics and a social life. Unsuccessful attempts with medications, spinal taps and CT scans, left her frustrated with traditional medical practices. It was then she was introduced to chiropractic care and discovered that her spinal cord and neighboring vessels had been compromised in her upper neck. Within one adjustment, nerve and blood supply was restored and her migraines began to improve. With regular adjustments and rehabilitation, her migraines have been controlled ever since. She was so impressed with chiropractic care that her passion became a quest to provide an alternative, holistic approach to overall health and well-being.

After earning her undergraduate degree in Sports Medicine from Colorado State University Dr. Wozniak immediately began graduate school at the University of Western States in Portland, OR, and finished the program in just under four years. With her passion for sports, she also received the Chiropractic Sports Physician Certification (CCSP), which enables her to diagnose, treat, and rehabilitate athletes at the Olympic level.

Dr. Wozniak knows that an all-encompassing understanding of the human body and all its parts is crucial in the effort to provide the best possible care. To that end, she has also received her degree in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. This includes traditional Chinese diagnosis, the use of acupuncture, acupressure, and cupping.

Treat More Than Just Symptoms

Dr. Wozniak’s philosophy is to diagnose and treat the patient and their underlying causes of their discomfort, not just their symptoms. She welcomes people from all walks of life, and no issue is too big or too small.
